Founded by Dr. Yves Hébert and Dr. Véronique Dorval, the clinic was born from a shared desire: to offer Montreal a place of excellence dedicated to aesthetic medicine and hair restoration. Our Physicians
Dr. Véronique G Dorval
Dr. Véronique G. Dorval, MD, MSc, FRCPC, specializes in hair, eyebrow, and beard transplants using the FUE method, with a particular interest in the reconstruction of complex cases. With over 700 successful transplants performed over the past four years, Dr. Dorval is globally recognized for optimizing transplants for patients with congenital malformations involving the scalp, eyebrows, or beard, cicatricial alopecia in burn victims, as well as other forms of cicatricial alopecia.
A diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and a prominent member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), Dr. Dorval is also a training supervisor for the Collège des Médecins du Québec, having developed a training program for physicians wishing to practice hair transplantation in Quebec.

Dr. Yves Hébert
A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal, I have been working for over 30 years in the field of aesthetic medicine, always at the forefront of new treatment modalities, both in terms of injectable products and hair restoration.
Dr. Jessica Chbat
Dr. Jessica Chbat is a highly qualified physician, specializing in internal medicine and endocrinology. A graduate of McGill University in 2013, she further deepened her expertise with subspecialty training at the University of Toronto in 2019. Although she initially specialized in endocrinology, Dr. Chbat now dedicates her practice to treating hair loss in men and women, hair transplantation, and aesthetic medicine. This transition reflects her passion for combining medical knowledge with an artistic approach, aiming to enhance her patients' natural beauty and improve their well-being.
Recognized for her meticulous approach and exceptional dedication, Dr. Chbat's expertise in hair transplantation is distinguished by her precision, attention to detail, and commitment to natural results. Her patient-centered approach combines extensive medical expertise with a warm environment, ensuring personalized and attentive care. Dr Marie-France Stephenson
After completing her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke in 2006, Dr. Stephenson pursued her specialization in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the University of Montreal. This specialty deals with conditions of the ear, nose, and throat, as well as facial aesthetics. During these five years of specialized training, she also completed a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. Dr. Stephenson gained several years of experience practicing in regional settings before obtaining a position at Notre-Dame Hospital in downtown Montreal. She has been involved there as Head of Department since 2017 and has served as the hospital representative on the Central Committee for the Evaluation of Medical Practice since 2022.
After 10 years of surgical practice in otolaryngology, Dr. Stephenson decided to expand her field of expertise into aesthetics and hair transplantation using the FUE method. She obtained her certification in aesthetic medicine, in accordance with the Collège des médecins du Québec, and became an associate member of the prestigious ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery). She regularly participates in international conferences and training programs to maintain and further develop her knowledge in this constantly evolving field. As a result, Dr. Stephenson is able to offer her patients the very best available treatments. Her patient-centered approach and meticulous work have consistently earned her the respect and trust of her clientele. She achieves natural-looking results that are in harmony with the rest of the face. Dr. Julien Houle-Dorval
Having completed my doctorate in medicine at the University of Sherbrooke, followed by a family medicine residency at Laval University, I have practiced as a full-time emergency physician since 2020, while pursuing numerous postdoctoral training courses in emergency medicine. In 2021, I expanded my scope of activities to include hair restoration, now dividing my time between the emergency room and the hair restoration clinic of Drs. Hébert and Dorval.
I am a member of the Collège des médecins and the Fédération des omnipraticiens du Québec, with certifications in aesthetic medicine and hair restoration recognized by the Collège des médecins du Québec. My journey in hair restoration began during an injectable internship under the supervision of Dr. Yves Hébert, where I discovered my passion for this specialty. Since then, I have performed over 100 hair transplants and also specialize in beard transplants.
As an official member of the DHD clinic team since autumn 2021, I regularly participate in international conferences, particularly those organized by the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) and the ABHRS (American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery).
My approach to hair restoration combines sharp technical expertise and an artistic vision. Each treatment is designed to harmonize results with the patient's physiognomy and anticipate natural facial aging. This precision requires sustained attention, which I consider a form of meditation, a true "monk's work."
